Earn a $500 to $1500 sign-on bonus after 60 working days based on verified climbing ability:

• $500 – Climber I skill level

• $1000 – Climber II skill level

• $1500 – Climber III (advanced) skill level

(Bonus is based on a skills checklist and performance review.)

Position Summary:
We're looking for a skilled climber to lead and execute a variety of tree care services including pruning, removals, rigging, and crane assisted work. This is a field-based role that demands technical ability, physical endurance, and a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will be passionate about trees and committed to working safely and efficiently as part of a high-functioning crew.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform tree climbing in accordance with ANSI standards using ropes and harnesses to safely access tree canopies for pruning and removals.

• Utilize  proper pruning techniques in accordance with ANSI A300 standards.

• Operate chainsaws, chippers, mini skids, aerial lifts, and other professional-grade equipment.

• Rig and dismantle trees in confined spaces with precision, utilizing traditional rigging techniques as well as crane assisted rigging. 

• Collaborate with crew members and communicate clearly on-site.

• Uphold strict safety protocols and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of climbing experience in the tree care industry.

• Proficiency climbing both with and without spikes utilizing SRT and Ddrt systems in compliance with industry standards. 

• Experience with crane assisted removals. 

• Solid knowledge of tree biology, pruning standards, and rigging systems.

• Proficient with hand and power tools, including saws and climbing gear.

• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred or willingness to obtain).

• ISA Arborist Certification or willingness to become certified (preferred).

• Able to work outdoors in all conditions and lift 50+ lbs regularly.
